The Special Santa Program works year round to raise funding and awareness for the program. Fundraisers include sales of Party Lite, Avon and the Northern Lights Coupon Book in addition to the following events:
Colony Christmas -Festival of Mini-Trees
Saturday, December 10, 2011Mat-Su Special Santa will host an Open House at Colony Inn from 10:00 to 4:00.
Activities include:
- Silent Auction for 10 beautifully decorated Mini-Christmas Trees ranging in size from 18 inches to 3 feet.
- Silent Auction of amazing items for Christmas presents. All proceeds go to help bring Christmas to children in need.
- 3 Vendors: Palmer Jr. Middle School will be selling handmade silk scarves. St. Bartholomew Ladies – Cookie Bar, Create a box from a variety of wonderful cookies Heather Ptak’s beautiful fused glass items.
Collecting Donations for Mat-Su Special Santa
High Tea: Saturday, September 24, 1:00 to 4:00 pm. This informal High Tea will be served to 100 guests at the Palmer Elks Lodge in the true tradition of High Tea. There is a hat competition, door prizes and a Quarter Auction. Child and Adults are welcome. Price: $15.00 per person.
Halloween Hollow: Monday, October 31, 3:00 to 8:00 pm, an indoor trick or treat carnival with over 35 booths held at Raven Hall on the Alaska State Fairgrounds. Price: $5.00 per person.
A Holiday Moment for Me: Friday, November 18th from 6:00 to 9:00 pm at the Raven Hall on the Alaska State Fairgrounds. This is an elegant ladies night out for relaxing, socializing and shopping. Price: $30.00 per person in advance or $35.00 at the door.
